Background
One of our most challenging exterior projects. This old home in Holland's Historic District needed a ton of work. Prep was everything - full scale stripping, scraping, sanding, caulking, and priming along with following all EPA precautions when working with lead paint (the crew got to suit up in Tyvek suits and respirators). We stripped layers and layers of paint from the window trim and the soffit which had intricate teeth on the lowers and decorative gables on the upper. All 30+ storm windows and all shutters got removed and prepped/sprayed off-site. Once all prep work was done, the detailed painting work began. With three colors and lots of accents the crew had to be on their game when it came to cutting in ability.
